It looks like a nice original one, and not a bad price either.

That is one hell of a fine collection you have Bruce, I remember when you moved it some years ago and was impressed then.
Glad to see it’s still growing.

The Old Dear shipping has hit a Covid snag by the looks...

Things going well

Then yesterday UK time

Nuts!

Aside to this is how bloody cool to have an Old Dear traveling the world via air freight?

Not anything an assembler in the factory would, in a fit, dream of? I mean totally fiction.

Oh well put a mask on it. All will be well as is not lost yet.

Update:

The package has "Gas Cylinders..."

Gas as in propane.

Seller is sorting out getting the old gent to me one way or another.

Sigh

Who are you shipping it with? That one I sent you some years back went via DHL in around 5 days. Not cheap though!

Maybe Christian has read that and taken to heart as a better way (DHL direct) not going through a third party.

Realistically I have a lot of money tied up with existing shipping costs without anything moving...

We shall see what happens

Update

The old bird turned up a couple of weeks ago less the fuel tank which will be sent again when degassed via normal British Mail.

Very pleased with it...how really good examples survive and come out of the blue astounds me.

I bet traveling down here in a jet was not remotely dreamed of when it left the factory.

Were there commercial jets back then? I think not.

A general clean and basic service is all I am going to do.

Part update for the motor but an update for the Ships' Cat Cello.

She just keeps on breathing/shedding/pooping and being an old small animal....I have no idea why?

She has a black gut absolutely chockas full of the best road kill Roo available.

The tank under the table has just been there but a good photo presented itself just now.

Raining and dismal outside.

Warm and a decent Port imbibe inside.

Ever been woken in the early morning by a cat breathing Kangaroo in your face?

Bless Her socks!

More to come and

Regards
