Bing trumpet action!

Post by never-outbored »

Designed and printed an alternative inlet cover for my bing carb today as it lost it’s square seagull one. Pics below

The ridge on the adapter allows me to use the original bing choke with the new trumpet action. The trumpet and adapter are printed separately and press fit together with .2mm tolerances. The whole thing press fits onto the carb, the opening diameter of the adapter being .2mm larger than the diameter of the carb where the seagull cover normally mounts. Obviously the print has not been sanded yet and I will fill the small ridge on the inside of the trumpet with epoxy to make it smooooth.
