I'm still waiting for the video of a Seagull pulling a Water Skier!

Can anyone zoom in on the Tug & confirm it's a fixed gear 102?
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

I can’t confirm that it’s a 102, but the description says it’s a long five blade propeller:
Om de onverwoesbare kracht van de Seagull, Best Britisch Outboardmotor Of The World, weer te geven bedacht de DSC (Dutch Seagull Club) een powerchallence.
Is het mogelijk dat een Seagull 5 pk langstaart met een 5 blads schroef een Zware boot kan voortstuwen.
Als zware boot werd gekozen voor een Sleepboot type Amsterdammertje bouwjaar 1918 genaamd Hester met een gewicht van 25 ton.
En of dat gelukt is, check de video!

To prove the immense power of the Seagull, Best British Outboard Motor of the World, the DSC (Dutch Seagull Club) came up with a challenge.
Would it be possible for a Seagull 5HP long tail outboard motor to propel a heavy boat? As a heavy boat we chose a 1918 'Amsterdammertje' type tug named the Hester with a weight of 25 tons.
Check the video to see if it worked!

I zoomed Charles.

Looks to me a Silver Century top end.

I have to confess to feeling rather peeved right now. I got rid of a nice old Boat, because my 20hp Mercury blew up, and I couldn't afford another Motor.
I have TWO working Seagulls sitting in the Shed...

Bruce straight out spark plug & cylindrical fuel tank = 102
I was looking to see if it had a clutch rod.
25 tons is a huge load for a Seagull 102 at maybe 3 mph looking at that bow wave, & looking how little water disturbance behind that motor
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.
