Hello

Post by Defender90 »

Just bought myself a Long Shaft Silver Century Plus, wspcl 1742g9. I think this number means it was bult July 1969. I am very happy with it but I might have a few questions.

As I will be using my segull in salt water, should I run fresh water though the engine after I have used it or will it be ok to leave it.

It would be ideal to flush it after every use. If you store it with sea water inside the block next season may not pump water or even the block could crack because or the rust expansion in the waterways.
