Civillity on the site Forum

Post by John@sos »

Sadly today I have to lock several topics as there has been a general trend towards incivillity. I will not permit this. (probably cannot spell it either!)

Rather than allow people to have slanging matches I will close the forum.

Your choice.

This is the first time I have had to do this in all the years and am astounded that I have to.

I do this for fun and I hope most, if not all, Seagull owners and users are polite and nice people, I have, in the past 25 years met many thousands and generally have found this to be 100% correct.

I hope this 'silliness' will pass without me having to take more extreme measures!

Happy seagulling, thats what its all about,

John

Sad to say Gianni has opted to take his work and go. Storm in a Tea cup and maybe we lost a good man. Hey ho.

I will be removing the whole sorry saga from the pages.

Yeah, I hadn't checked for a week and look what happens. Heard via email, came to check and it's all gone, so much for freedom of speech, bugger.
Unfortunately it seems to happen on every forum with the end result of people storming off that we're otherwise usefull contributors.
Egos
Cheers Rolf.

Hello All,

I have P.M.ed a couple to bring them up to date, and had mails from loads saying their thanks. Suffice to say the subject is now closed and I will simply lock this topic now as it is really just an announcment anyway, not really up for discussion!

Have fun out there with those Seagulls,

Regards,
john
