Change Password. Why?

I logged in as usual, only to be told I 'had to change my Password to continue'. Any particular reason for this? Hacking? Scamming? Inquiring minds need to know!

Yes, the forum now requires a password change once a year for security reasons. Welcome any feedback on this!

No problems this end, I simply didn't expect something like this 'out of the blue' so to speak. If the Forum requires it now, I'm more than happy to comply.

Sorry for the hassle, understand that it can be annoying having to change a password.
