Three bladed Prop for a very early little forty

Post by MoodyBlue »

My prop has a large part of one blade broken off, so options are to find another, or go to a propellor repairer I know.

The motor is an early Little Forty that has NO stampings on the crankcase, uses a screw in drive tube (NO Pinch Bolt), Villiers carby, and three arm Villiers Magneto.

I have some pics that I have already sent to John at SOS. It has THREE blades of Mouse ear shape.

Thanks
Jeff

I think that was the only model with this style prop, not all that common, you maybe lucky.

This type.

Thanks Keith,
That would be the one, and John already warned they are scarce, but one can only ask....

Propellor has been repaired by a local old school bloke.

Cost me 40 Australian rubels, and I cannot tell which was the broken blade.

Pics to come, but no longer looking for a propellor.

Cheers

Jeff
