I don't recall seeing one of those before, in black plastic, but might be 3D printable.

Thanks for the pics, this might be enough to motivate someone to do a cadcam drawing & print a few samples, to see if it's possible to get a good enough finish & load bearing properties.
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

It might be but who will draw it up? and if they did would there be a demand for them.
If there was a demand I would give it a go.... It would be a good part to print in PETG

It would have cost quite a bit to have the tooling made to do that, but the parts may have been cheaper to make.
