too many tools

Post by deacon bruce »

I have noticed that many of the pics here have work spaces subject to the law of horizontal surfaces. They collect stuff. My garage is full of stuff:
Metric, Whitworth, metric and SAE wrenches and sockets, lots of duplicates, complete with at least three3/8 ratchet wrenches, 16 and 12 oz claw hammers, copper "Thor" hammer from my MG knock off wire wheel days, etc, etc. HELP! Spend most of my time looking for a wrench in a pile of duplicates, etc. Any solutions?

Then parts and supplies. Help again. Wife and son have tried to organize me. To no avail.

Thinking of garage sale. But I'd keep the tools and sell the garage.

Sold my MG Midget years ago with the proviso that buyer take all spare parts. There were 3 van loads- trannies, differential/rear ends, etc.

No answers expected, just needed to vent. TYVM

You could try and sell off any duplicate tools that fit the seagull fasteners on here through the "for sale" page.

Might be worth a try.

I'm on the lookout for some old tools. A lot of mine are well worn now (wink)
