Is there anyone in Australia who has a spare 40+/Villiers complete throttle cable?
I'm building up a motor from spare bits (Cleaning up the shed and divesting it from Seagulls), I've reached the stage where all is complete (and running by using a spare 102 cable)

Re: throttle cable
Hi Rob, do you have a cable that needs rebuilding? What i do is remanufacture using pushbike cables & cut to length & solder the old end fittings to new cable. If your like me ive salvaged boot or hatch release cables from cars when replacing them with new ones when i worked as a mechanic, great source of long cables.

Re: throttle cable
Thanks for the advice, Darryl. As it happened I was lucky enough to buy a new cable. I dont have gas welding equipment to remake the ends, but was able to find a metal piece that I crimped in place, for the 40+
In my spare stock I do have 2 new cables for my 102's and a 3 foot extension cable for my C100, (it fits to an extendable/articulated arm) so have enough now.
