40+ clutch parts

Post by timer »

does anyone have the parts to convert my 40+ to a clutch model. I have a perfectly good 40+ without clutch but think a clutch will be very useful

Sorry to give you bad news, but your going to need the entire bottom end from a model 55 or a model 75 with a 55 prop.

The easiest & cheapest way would probably be, to get yourself a whole model 55 & use the 40+ as spares or sell it to cover some of the costs.

Ah! That would explain why I can't find one. A forty with clutch strikes me as one of the most usefull seagulls about. Light, functionable and economic. Ideal for a dinghy.
