I am watching this and If you are going to take a punt let me know and I'll leave it alone.I don't bid until 30sec to go,or not at all if it goes over what I'm prepared to pay, usually as little as I can,it's the Scottish side coming out :D

Have a read up on these, they can be very expensive to keep going, parts almost unavailable & subject to ebay potluck.
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

Big ends can be weak on these, so never rev hard in neutral, or skimp on the oil mix. I believe the FNR gearbox can be prone to difficulties if not maintained also. Quite powerful though, and a few people here have made new big end caps from bronze which makes the engine a lot stronger.

Hah it's not going to make a pile of difference to me,apart from all the advice here ,it is rapidly approaching my max.I'm always a bit wary of ebay,so try to limit myself to what I could stand to lose,if it was a pile of rubbish, without getting myself hung by my ever patient better half  Though I'm always a sucker for ,"Well I could fix/make/replace/break and cut my losses"on that thing. So, Níl sí ag teacht go Co. Donegal  Bit o' gaelige
