Have read in these columns that 'late model' engines had needle roller bearings which were not good, and also some have big ends where there is no bush in the end cap ( but there is in the con rod?!?! ) I am no engineer but know that is not a good idea!
Can someone enlighten me, 'bearing' the above in mind ( sorry )
which models I should therefore avoid ( unless I want to get into some serious engineering work, which I don't! )
