model 75 pump housing

Post by headdownarseup »

I'm putting together a "bitsa" and need a pump housing for the later sealed clutched gearbox. Must be CENTURY sized and not 40
I think model 75 through to EFNR, or if anybody is stripping a 170 (unlikely but you never know) should fit.

As long as its complete (and not rotten) then condition is not important as it will get painted anyway.

So do you need FN sealed or FNR gearbox pump housing?
I love the 10600/145 turns!!!

hi STELIOS
Long time no hear?
How have you been?

ok, pump housing is for the later sealed and clutched gearbox (100 size not 40) but definitely not silver century plus.
I think they're the same as model 170 (fnr) with 9" prop.
The same pump housing is on my model 90.

So Jon which gearbox do you want to use?

FN and FNR pump housings are different.

If you are using the awful FNR box then you will need the one with the round exhaust outlet, same as Kingfisher, Osprey, Seagull 6, 170, and FNR Century.

Hello Jon, hello everyone!

Work keep me busy a lot and this is luck locally.. I travel a little bit also for the same reason but unfortunately not to UK.

The pump housing seems to be not as the one in the picture. 12:30 sealed gearbox is the one you are talking about. Used in 40s and 100s.

i've got plenty of gearboxes thanks.
It's the pumphousing i need.
And no, sorry it's none of those in your pics.

Think of the later 40+ gearbox with a clutch, just with a century pump housing fitted to it. (model 75)
Silver century ones are very different and also dont fit (bolt holes dont line up) i've tried that already
