Also as you said , Pictures of the two piece Sparking plug cover would be very helpful. ANY ideas where the brown tubing can be had? Thanks. WB

Please someone tell me about what year or what serial number the design was changed from screwed transmission tube into the water pump housing, to pinch bolt. That is on FVP or LS Models . Mine is currently a pinch bolt and considering the need to change to screwed. Thank you all. WB

Art, the change to the clamped housing is listed on Jeremys data sheets. See the link I posted above. Approx serial number LS24100.

Oyster, Thank you. I looked in Jeremy ' s data but did not find the transmission tube change over. The FVP is the number quoted. So I will need the screwed trans tube.
I do have an LS with no crank case number that I also plan to bring back to life. That one will also need a screwed transmission tube. Too bad , as I do have a pinch bolt one in good condition. These are just what I need for winter projects. Cheers WB

Very nice very very nice.
But the crossbeam on the trolley is chipped and appears to be maybe douglas fir or some other firewood type.
Surely ebony or iroko or even plain walnut or oak would have been better choice.

I have tried John - SOS and E-Bay for the short villiers throttle cables. They do not have them. can anyone supply , or suggest a source?
What should the short length be? Thank you
