Was looking for an Avon dinghy and an engine to recondition to potter about on Lochs nearby. Was the only bidder on Ebay, got a 10ft Avon Dinghy with transom, oars, a life jacket, full set of floorboards, a front canopy and a 1968 Forty Featherweight.
All for the grand sum of £40! I'm over the moon with it all. Now to get it all refurbished over winter for next years fishing and exploring.

$40! that is a steel!
Looks like it had a good coating of varnish back in its day.
Got a pic of the boat?

No picture of boat yet. The one thing missing was the pump unfortunately. Needs new valves according to seller. It's an old black redseal as far as I can work out. Same as this one. Just realised I have overstated the length. It must be a 10ft dinghy, not 12 as I claimed.
