Posting parts to Australia

Post by AusAnzani »

Hello all,

I am in need of some advice on shipping/posting outboard parts from the UK to Australia.

Who's done it and what method/service did you use?

Can smaller packages eg barrels, pistons etc be sent by regular post or does it have to be via a courrier?

What are the most cost effective, yet reliable methods?

Any information and/or advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards
Spiro

Good Morning Spiro .
You can get packages to Australia air freight as long as there are no Fuel Related items in them . I've sent a few out to you guys using Parcelforce Global express . Last one was a 102 Gearbox , cost tracked was around £80UK . Customs is no big problem I just have to attach the relevant 3 part documentation with a description on it .

Eddie .

Hi Eddie, sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately I have been locked out due to the password issue.

Parts are on their way from the UK. DHL Express was used. £80UK including packaging to post 2 barrels, 2 pistons, 2 props, an exhaust housing and hadfull of hardware.

More than the cost of parts, however It all arrived safetly and in less than a week :)

Regards,
S
