Hi all,
I recently saw on TV a film - I think (not sure) the title is "Storm Boy" about an Australian boy growing three orphaned pelikans.
A Seagull (110?) has a rather important role in the story, both as an engine for a little boat and as a grinder/mixer on dry land for the fish pudding nourishing the baby birds.
It's too bad the Seagull gives up just in a critical situation, but so is life.
