The infamous SD sidemount has continued its journey south. It is now in Victoria Australia in the hands of an, also, infamous member!

G'day Mr Hugz , aye starboard nipples , none original after market Throttle Lever .Alloy Coolie Hat , Villiers Rope Pull and Top nut on Ebay . I offered the Crankcase which has had an appalling repair done on the Tiller Stud where it has snapped off on the Marston Group as a freebee. Fly Wheel , Magneto and Rimless Base are on my bench . Steel Tiller handle ??? and Steel Tiller Stud. The Gearbox Cap is not original , the Gearbox is stamped 720 , but the ill fitting cap has no number .It's pretty much a complete pretty much a basket case I'm afraid . Carb is on Ebay all Brass fittings .The gear Lever is for sure Bronze but has been plated . Ditto the Exhaust tube Clamp , proper Bitsa . The piston and rod are later , piston is not circlipless and the conrod is cast 3 .
I'll have another for you next week I'm off to drag home some Gulls , one of which is an SD what's left of it .

Very good, thanks. I haven't decided whether bitsa's should go to the registry yet. What do others think? There are a few on there.

I only have three of them SD12683, SD4164L3,SD2481, I would have to look at pictures of the original condition as they probably were not totally complete when I picked them up.
If interested, will look into them.

Looking good. I like the cork handle. Is that 9963.L3 or P4? Can't quite make it out. Excellent info. Thank you.

OMG!! This is the original 'crate motor'. We have been waiting for this to surface. Do you have crate, tools and side mount and also was there any white stencilled markings on the exhaust before it was polished? Has it been started? Wow 😁

Thanks for that Eddie. Does it have a carburettor with a brass lid or brass body and is the fuel tap brass? Are the nipples on the gearbox on the starboard or port side. Standard length drive shaft too? And colour of barrel. I've added her into the registry. 👍
