Any updates on the old boy, for those of us who don't Facebook or Tweet?

Is this address correct?
allegra@ozemail.com.au
I tried to send my wishes for Adrian to Allegra but the message could not be received.

A quick update for you

A-J has been moved to a private re-hab hospital where he's doing well. (better food too which he likes a lot more)
Where he was before i think Allegra wasn't entirely happy with his care. (she obviously wears the trousers!)
Slowly but surely.
Just taking each week as it comes, gentle exercise and speech therapy.

I've been without any internet over the last 6 days so i'm a bit out of touch myself.

Anybody wishing to contact either A-J or Allegra might i suggest allegra@ozemail.com.au first before trying facebook.
Be patient as she's got a lot of correspondence to deal with daily.

Thanks for the update John.

Tough times for Adrian and family.

Went through similar with mum approx. 2 years ago. She's all good now but full recovery took time.

Wish all the best for Adrian.

S

In due course i will try to relay any messages on to Allegra to pass onto Adrian.

Yep, definitely a long slow path to recovery.

Similar things happening with my father-in-law. (similar age to A-J) Only 15 months ago he had major surgery to correct double curvature of the spine (scoliosis) which has been reasonably successful. The down side is he's now been diagnosed with Parkinson's. I can fully appreciate just how A-J must be feeling right now.
The mind is willing but the body says NO. Take each day as it comes.

I'm just gutted that the "canal run" wont be going ahead as planned, but fingers crossed there's always next year.

More news when i get it.
