Seems like a waste of all three drugs Charlie ! lol
I am having trouble sourcing the 7/16 X 19 backing nut . do they take the same 5/16 slide on nipples as the 1/4 bsp nuts ? Jesus so many different threads types and sizes on one simple fuel line , drive a man to drink ! Rather than break down a existing fuel line to get the fittings I'm trying to make them up "new" so I can make them for others who might want one and retire of my income
the 1/4 nut plus nipple costs 10 dollars NZ , plus tube , workshop charge (gas and benders etc need to be paid for ) and labour . Don't know I can afford to make them for myself ! lol Think I'm getting sun stroke , warm here today

Gentlemen the Marston Register also has a requirement for the fuel tap nuts (25) but have been unable to locate a suitable supplier, so we have been contemplating having some remanufactured but the cost for such a low number has been the stumbling block.
If Oyster has found a source of the correct item it could save us a lot of trouble, can you pm me the costs for 25, failing that how many are required, if we can reach 100 we might be able to reduce the cost to a level, we can all afford.

These are the parts you need to make a 102 fuel pipe.
On the left a 7/16 x 19 "Gas" thread to fit the seagull Erwarts petrol tap. (the end of the tap that goes into the tank is 1/8 BSP I believe)
On the right the larger 1/4 BSP fittings that connect to the Amal float bowl.
Amal float bowl end: The 1/4 BSP ferrule fittings are easily found on live steam websites, where the cheapest seems to be around £3 for a pack of ten. Scottparts.co.uk do the nuts for £1.80 each.
Fuel tap end: 7/16 x 19 nuts are available from Villiersparts.co.uk in plated brass at £1.20. The plating can be rubbed off if required. I'm awaiting a small order from George.
Scottparts.co.uk do the 7/16 ferrules, but they are specially made at £4 each. Brass nuts are also £4, plated steel are £1.20
So a SD copper pipe with brass nuts will cost £8 for 1 end and about £2.50 for the other, plus the pipe. Call it £12.
A little forty pipe will cost about £5.20 plus the pipe call it £7. Don't forget to save the banjo fittings on any rusty little 40 pipes you have!!
Non of this includes postage and the not inconsiderable cost of our highly skilled labour.

Does anybody have any rusty old little forty pipes they do not want? I am after the carb end banjo fitting off the pipe, to make a few new pipe assemblies.
