Thank you all for the condenser information :!:

Charles SP - Through reading about Seagulls on this site, the spinning technique was used right after cleaning all of the contact points. Unfortunately there was no spark to be found. I just applied a multi-meter and set the probes at the HT contact point and the wire-weld area on top of the coil. I could not get any ohm readings so it looks like I may have a non working coil too. Looks like I will be looking for a few replacement parts to get this Seagull going. The good thing is there are still parts out there.
