Johnson 9.5hp someone who knows

Hi
I have got a johnson 9.5hp 1970 model
I have put in new coils, leads and plugs.
it has good compression
but wont go............
Help
if you know anyone who can help me or somewhere in essex that fixes them please let me know

When you say it won't go, are you saying it will not start or that it starts but doesn't do much else?
If it doesn't start, do you have spark? You replaced coils, but did you clean the points- you probably need to. Probably should replace the condensers as they are dirt cheap anyway.
Are you getting fuel to the carb? the plugs?
If it runs, but poorly, does it run better with the cover off?

i have a 4hp evinrude litetwin 1972 model that had the same problems, I replaced the crank seals which fixed it

hELLO i THINK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE IS CONNECTED THE COILS TO THE WRONG POINTS.
TRY SWAPPING THE COIL TO CONTACT BREAKER WIRES OVER.
