Quick Intro

Post by daBee »

Hi folks.

Just want to introduce myself. I'm launching my Avon and Seagull tomorrow, after 35 years of being in a garage, moving, and resurrection. I should be posting a short video when I get around to editing it.

Thanks to John for the site, the service, and the shipments of a couple tools and parts to bring this thing together. I'm excited, tomorrow will be a lot of fun.

I'm tempted to ask why you have been in a garage for 35yrs, but if you can resurrect too I guess anything is possible.

Seriously, welcome to the forum and hope all goes well for the launch! look forward to pics

Well, my Dad sold his Alberg 30 and it was just in the garage with no real incentive to get her going. My parents passed away recently, and it's my 1 year anniversary of moving into my new home. One of the projects, in memory of the great times me and my Dad had, I said I would get this engine and Avon going.

More to come, hopefully.

Cheers
