Bet you have not got one of these Bruce

This is my latest purchase from the Bay.
Owned from new by an old guy who lives next to my local river.

It is in fantastic condition for its age and has had very little use

Why could Seagull not have made a few simple changes to their designs in the early 60's ?

Can anyone tell me what the knob on the side of the villiers rope pull does?

Why would you mend something that isn't broken?

You haven't checked the top main bearing yet, have you?

The Pilot & this was the last of them was a very nice little motor, very well designed, but more fragile than the Seagull equivalent.
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

Nahhh ...too complex ....
and one always likes to see the 'innards' whizzing round so you really know it's working

all these modern things shrouded up in the name of HSE might as well be powered by sound ...but a seagull wheezing and gasping at you you know you're getting full value for money

proper job !!
Neal...errrr... an ON, OP, 2xSD, F, 3xSJP, LLS, 2xFV, FVP, FPC, CPC WPCL, WSC, and a few eggs hatching, hopefully
