Here are some cheap whitworth spanners

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Silverline-6339 ... 744&sr=8-1

I got some of these as a second set, OK but if you want something special, Britool are about as good as they get in Whitworth, nice thin walled ring end, I've had a set for over 20 years and they still look good, the only thing, four times the price :o

Whitworth spanners will fit BSF hex heads, but one size removed if that makes any sense. If you have a set of whitworth spanners and they don't fit let us know which nut or bolt you're trying to remove and we'll see if we can help - a photo would be good.

I've found a small adjustable spanner to be a very useful tool. Fits pretty much everything, and goes in your pocket also, whilst out in the boat.
