Notable seagulls of 2012

Looking back on 2012 any thoughts on notable engines that have appeared in 2012? This could be a long lost engine, restoration completion, race engine etc.

My nomination for engines of note would be as follows:
Markhld's model OA, huge amount of work on a barn find. Plus seeing details of a OA rebuild shared was great.
Gannets little model F, great discovery.
Chill dog's blinged up 102 complete with custom cast SD bronze prop and clutch lever.

For events, for me attending the Hayling meet and taking part was great.

How about posting other nominations? A bit of praise will help encourage more!

My vote goes to Markhld's model OA and his reincarnated classic beauty! It made my day for a month when I saw the finished product! :D
BTW Best of the New Year to all the mates on this forum... wishing you all a minimum of Seagull complaints regarding noise, oil slick trails, starter pulley rope beatings, 100% water-filled gearcases, major fuel tank dents, sub-normal compression, peeling chrome exhaust tubes, rust-blocked cooling passages etc. :x
But then again, that's all part of Gulling and the challenges of saving our pride-and-joys!
Cheers to all!

I would say this engine is a notable example, look how many people in this boat have a smile on their face.

For me that is what Seagulls are all about, and the dog is having a great time.

Happy new year all, an may your props keep spinning, as long as you are behind me :).
