Today i bought an old seagull, i think it's a 102, but i'm not really sure since the serial number can't be found on the engine identifier. (Acr2397L)
But i bought it without the "brace", don't know the correct english word. It's the thing that you use to hang your seagull on the boat. Can anybody help me?

Hi, It is called the transom bracket.
Should look like this for a 102 engine. Normally aluminium.
Post a picture of your engine and we will have a better idea.

That would be an AC 102 long shaft, 1947-48 the R would mean its been refurbished by BS at one point.

Thank you!
Yes I got the same tip from john to leave out the R, thrilled to find that my seagull was made before the 50's. (Allready have a 61 century, but wanted something older then my mother.)
I'll trie and post a picture of the engine when i get back to a normal pc, my phone doesn't really work well with this kin of stuff.
Anyway, does anybody know where i can get on of those things? A transom bracket?
