Hi Everyone,
I have the opportunity to acquire a Folding Porta Bote, it seems ideal for me as I go away a lot with the family in the campervan and the inflatable I have been using is not really big enough,
So the question I have, are they any good? Has anyone had any experience with one? Even though the one I am looking at is second hand it's not cheap.
Any info really would be greatly appreciated, Thanks
Porta Bote

Re: Porta Bote
I've never owned one nor been on one, but they do look ideal for a campervan situation. Would you plan on storing it inside the camper or on a roof rack? I'm presuming you saw the other thread where they were discussed recently. Here it is just in case you did not.

This durability test should fill you with a bit of confidence, http://www.porta-bote.com/great-durability ; not sure any of my boats would survive such a test. I'd be curious as to if they do happen to get damaged are they easily repairable/patched up?

They go together quick anyway (with some practice I'd imagine).
Cheers Pat

Portabote with a forty plus on the back, will there be a Marston gracing the back of one in the near future I wonder?
