Dover grips - Clarification

There has been a bit of discussion around Tiller grips of late. These are the ones that seem to be fitted to SDs and most engines in the 1940s through to the late fifties (ish)

Later engines seem to have these fitted up to perhaps the late sixties or early seventies.

However I don't know when the actual change occurred. I have two of the later ones available if anybody is after one. I also have two of the earlier ones, but they are needed I'm afraid. They tend to be fit once, as getting them off seems to destroy them, so if you see a tiller for sale with one fitted, buy it!

As to the Marston ones, a bit more study required across the Marston owners.

Yes the closed end is correct on all these grips.
