Well the ones here (east coast) are still crapping on the wife's clean washing and me, if i stand still long enough in the garden that is but other than that they are coping well.

Not so sure about the poor sods up north in Cumbria though, thats one hell of alot of water.

Weather and stuff like that is generally "pants" at the moment.
Soggy pretty much everywhere in the south west although not had any rain for a couple of hours now. My flock already have webbed feet so there wont be a problem with water. They're used to it.....however their roost is looking a little worse for wear these days. (high winds last week tore the roofing felt clean off the shed. i only re-did the roof a couple of months ago too  )

I'm remembering back to 2 years ago when there was a large chunk of the south west under water for months. The main railway line down to the south west has only recently been brought back into service after extensive rebuilding and reinforcement along the coast. The road network took a pounding as a result of the diversions too. Apparently the repair work is still ongoing for some folks down there.

By the sounds of it, the weather for the next of couple of years is set to get much wetter at this time of year. As for the poor sods up north my thoughts go out to them.

On the other hand, my parents in law currently live in spain and their going through a drought! No rain at all for several months and water reserves running low.

Funny thing the weather aint it?

the weather in n.wales has been a little rough, alot of the fields have been flooded but the houses remain safe.
all 3 gulls are stored in shed out off the weather.
high winds and rain do prevent the odd trip out on the river. however it does open another wind for me while the gulls are all safe.
a wet and windy night gives good cover to wander around the local lord Mostyns woods in stealth mode
