I'm told that Nudge had a brilliant weekend during the 2016 Waikato Regatta, a little birdy told me he won his class, an excellent result for a first timer.
Well done young man!
Sounds like the Kiwis had a great weekend on the Waikato!

Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.
Re: Sounds like the Kiwis had a great weekend on the Waikato!
Thanks for the help and tips Charles! It was a fun two days.
We where put into the Clasic Bermudan class.
With a lack of water and two people in the boat, Myself pluss my daughter and son swapping along the way we knew that it wouldn't be the fastest race!
To help us out we put a new genuine tefal pan on the back and a prop so shiny it would blind anybody that looked at it!
With "Bob" on the on the bow as navigator and 20L of 10:1 fuel we where ready rock and roll!
We had a good start on both days being the second boat over the start line.
and even better the first over the finish (for out class)
We didn't get time to take any photos along the way, with looking out for rocks and weed on day one and sand banks on the second it was quite a bit of hard work but a lot of fun!
There have been quite a lot of photos taken by others (we could see them along the way).
The kids and the misses are already starting to plan next years event!

We will need all the luck we can get.... it has been raining cats and dogs for the last month so there will be a lot of trees and sand banks to get in the way.
