New Project.....Sadly No Propeller
1968 Honda Sport 90...........Dad bought me one as my first bike.....1971 I was eleven. It was black.
This is because..............and is a fast track over winter project for me in 2017.
The numbers say it should remain Blue.

In my teens, I owned a Honda SS 50, It used to go forever, never any problems.
Also had a Honda SL, CX, CB-J and a Four-4, among many others.
But never owned a poof chariot, sorry, Honda C, what ever cc.

Re: New Project.....Sadly No Propeller
The next chapter I need a POV camera as From now it will be me putting the Old Dear together.
No point in a camera in one hand or the usual tripod or top of beer can mounting on the work bench aye.
I also have some other outboard projects, yet incomplete, that will need a more modern perspective for others along the way.
I have taken a bit of a punt with just purchasing a yet to be reviewed new offering from ORDRO. The ORDRO EP3 head mount camera. There are as yet no reviews online but google it anyway. Never know may work out ok.
I have managed to get all of the Ducati project in one space as well so maybe two bike projects over winter who knows...............the Ducati has been an ongoing effort since 1982 by the way.
Cheers

Nice project Bruce, doing it correctly as usual too
Re: New Project.....Sadly No Propeller
G'day B,
I am not overly keen on any of those POV cameras to be honest with you. Had considered several types (including glasses) to record fishing experiences, but most move their heads way too much, and therefore it's hard to make a good video. Best option (in my opinion anyway) is multiple cams on stands with editing and narration at the end to tell the story.
Look forward to seeing what you come up with. Work so far is top notch.

S

Re: New Project.....Sadly No Propeller
I know what you mean in that POV cams always seem to be spastic in origin............shudder looks the pits yeh. So many Youtubers that realy....FAIL.
I am quite proficient in handling a smart phone camera, (LG G4 latest) keeping things smooth which is not looking at the display but both the display and whatever is next in the real world yet to come. I managed to get the painter movements worked out within 3 mins for the last vid...........if we ever do another together should be quite smooth and .....pre-emptive?
There is also the arm reach backwards and forwards to smooth things out.
Yes a POV is something that I have never done, something that I know needs practice with some form of body/head/legs/beer holder positioning that results in smoothness..................Hmmmmm Smooth.......
I shall be a complete dork and just wear it when I get it much to the ridicule of everyone that does not actually mean a squat to me or my day to day aye.
Give me 10 hours and my head will be as steady as any chook!
By Chook......................look at this!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cOhnWYwdzI
In my case something to aspire to.
Did I say that really..............Sigh.

Re: New Project.....Sadly No Propeller
Your vids bring back many happy memories for me Bruce.
Countless hours have i spent in one of those suits and a Darth Vader mask watching an old master at work, until one day he finally said "it's your turn". GULP
Trying my best not to make a hash of things i give it a go. Wouldn't you know it turned out alright and a couple of years after became a fully paid up paint sprayer.
Nowadays my spray painting is something i don't often get a chance to rekindle being a mechanic on the tools pretty much every day.
I do miss it. Good times ...
Nice little project too. Should be good to see how it turns out.
Must do something with my old bike under the sheets i've had for over 10 years now.
