Many of you remember my panicked requests for help in resurrecting Wilbur and the jubilation in getting a spark.

Well Wilbur needed other work and other spares and I was reluctant to go carb diving. I have rebuilt motorcycle carburettors, however the carb failing on the A47 is a lot easier to fix or get recovered from than the Cardinal Buoy at Morston Quay,

The fuel tap was missing the screw, the carb slider needed replacing as did the throttle cable. I managed to find someone in Norfolk who professed to be able to repair the Seagull, Robert Paul. So after a look over he informed me that for £55 it would get the attention and spares! So Wilbur is now running properly, responding to the throttle and stopping on it as well! He has replaced the gearbox oil with 140, the split pin got replaced as well, which was rather a shame as I had to remove it for the tub run. Will get some more tomorrow!

Anybody in Norfolk needs Seagull servicing then try this guy!

Keep an eye out for when we get it on the water!
