I'm could do with a couple, has anyone got an unmessed with example, that we could do a drawing of, I can't think of a reason why we couldn't have several laser cut.
The hardest bit would be finding 1/8" bronze sheet that's the same colour!

Failing that machine up a pattern with the same profile so that a bronze bar could be cast, that was then cut into 1/8" slices.

Has anyone checked to see if British Seagull or John has any in stock?

I've just had a chat with John Williams, they are no longer a "stock item", He's going to have a look to see if he's got a real good example so I can do a 3D drawing & then a feasibility study on re-manufacturing some for him.

So you'll have to wait you impetuous Scotsman!

I thought they came with that latch at least some of them. Some have a hole for split pin and others, the split pin goes in front for open and back for locked. Two left ones are damaged.

I'm putting forward the synopsis that earlier ones were wedged (wedge latch) shape with one hole and later ones were the sexy sickle shape with two holes (sickle latch).

Digressing....

Is this a century with a metal thrust block? Looks a bit like it but no chain to pin. Maybe he put the chain in the wrong place. Skeletal had chain to the sheppard's crook bar but not that I know of on the std brackets. Remember these are artists impressions.

I now have one of the Nudge styled ones, thanks John.

They appear to be stamped from 8 gauge brass sheet, I will see if I can get a 3D drawing done Nudge.

If I can find a laser cutter who stocks & will cut the right gauge material it will save time & money.

What I will need to know is what sort of chain was used to retain the locking pin, & the only one I've got with chain looks like their bath plug is no longer retained, & the chrome is starting to chip.

It would probably be easier if John stocked & sold the whole kit, latch, chain & the 2 sizes of split pins, it would save the owner a lot of driving around town looking for 2 different pins.

Chain and pin. Of course the little pin that fastens chain to bracket broke. Left click twice.
