What do you think will this dinghy suite a Seagull?

Featherweight on the dinghy.
Boat 037.jpg
Prop in line with the skeg, filler plug touching.

Using the 40 plus braked kicks it out enough to clear.

40+ and Century will physically fit.

It was one of those lazy days when I should be getting out some oak for the next job but choosing to play instead.

Dave.

Actually I don’t think it would be very good with an outboard but might just get away with the Featherweight.

This is a photos of the Halfmodel which is carved to inside of plank and shows the halfbreadth of the stem keel and transom the knuckle depicts the bearding line.

As you can see although the keel and skeg run strait the after sections above the skeg have a lot of rise to them so she will tend to squat with an outboard.

The fine entry and run make her row well and with the hard bilges she also sails well, but that run is just not suitable for an outboard.
