Not sure, these are some of the more common options

Re: Which Seagull goes here?
Thanks. It looks like the “Seagull Auxiliary Bracket” went there.
We have towed her using a Forty Plus so I reckon a Forty Plus will move her in a calm and in anything more than F1 she sails like a witch!

Yes Auxiliary bracket on closer inspection.
Have you got the bit not bolted to the boat?
I would use a Forty Plus, featherweight could be long enough if calm.

Alas, no, but we can probably secure one in exchange for beer tokens. We do have a Forty Plus... best left in place rather than manhandled across the rather narrow and tippy after deck...

The Squibs that race from Maylandsea here on the River Blackwater, were bilge keel versions locally known as 'Sandhoppers'.
The class rules said a Seagull Forty Plus had to be carried, just in case the wind dies and you have to get back before the creek dries out. They mostly had the Seagull stand off brackets with a shoe attached, that slotted neatly into that fitting.
The Seagulls were always stowed in the lockers when racing and manys the time I have seen the fleet motoring back in a calm!
Understand Charles has one of these, so get in touch with him or contact SOS for his contact details.
Have not had one at SOS for a long time...
Regards,
John

That is extremely helpful, John.
If Charles and I don’t manage to get in touch with each other I will phone you in business hours and ask for his number.

All sorted. She gets a Forty Plus, and Charles has very kindly pointed me at the rest of the bracket.
What a fine place this bulletin board is!
