Is This a Sign of the Times....an Ebay Listing

Post by Collector Inspector »

Everyone being here for yonks knows the seller of this.

This is a relist.

It does not matter if the reserve is not met in any shape or form to being relisted.

It is the intrinsic interest in an old dear that needs a new home.

Times are hard and this is why old things do not matter anymore...even the most fervent collector does not even give a rats.

I have heavy investment past years for some really rare Seagulls from all over the world.

I consider for my enjoyment only now.

What do you think?

Its now sold, at a "Between enthusiasts" price, thankfully to an enthusiast who is very active in seagull restoring. Very little interest otherwise. It is a sign of the times in the UK I'm afraid.
My interest has subdued, and I'm busy restoring 2 wheeled machines :o Not space for a flock of gulls nowadays.

So nice to hear it has gone to a good home mate.

It appears that while Ebay is the way to go it sorts out the wheat from chaff.

The wheat gets in touch and the chaff is disposable?

A very good outcome.
