Hi; Just attempted to install my 40+ on another boat - won't fit! The newer boat has a thicker transom (GRP) and the mouth of the bracket could do with being about 3/8" - 1/2" wider. I've googled but nobody seems to mention the size of the gap. What is the solution? I don't want to resort to ...

I've just re-joined the ranks of Seagullers (?) after 40 odd years. Purchased a 102 to replace the Evinrude 6hp anchor.
Delighted to confirm the seller's description of the motor (perhaps he used your chart?) Happy boating to all in 2010.
