Seagull outboard with forward/neutral/reverse
I saw a YouTube video with a seagull century that had forward/neutral and reverse. Is this a special version of the seagull outboard or would it be something someone made themselves?

Re: Oil/fuel mixture conversion
I would never want to do something to shorten the life of the little motor or hurt it in any way. But.. If it is fine running on 25:1 I would love the advantage of less smoke.

I have a 1974 Silver Century plus Seagull outboard motor. It says in the manual the oil/fuel mixture is 10:1. But I have been doing some research and I have found out that these motors can be converted to 25:1 fuel oil mixture. Just wondering what is involved in doing this? Does the motor need any d...

Re: Bargepushers
I just purchased a seagull outboard. It's serial need is WSPCL1897CC4. I think it is a barge pusher. It has a clutch that will put it in and out of gear.

Gas tank and carb cleaning
Hi fellow seagull owners! I'm new to this group. I just purchased I 1974 seagull. It hasn't run in quite some time but everything looks in tact and in good condition. I smell old gas in the gas tank and was wondering if I should clean the tank and carb before I try to start it with fresh fuel. If so...
