my 102 i couffing and water comes out of tube part 1356

Very odd byt water is pushed out from the small drilled hole in the main rod where the shaft goes through.
Waterstream is also coming out from the tell tale in the exhaust pipe side.

Enging difficult to start but can be kept alive.

The impeller ( large diameter) and gear box is of WW ll type ...

Kind regards Sten

Igor,

Baybe someone could supply a cross reference chart e.g
Champion-Bosch. This may help you to find the correct spark plug
as most know the Champion type.
I have tried Bosch M 5 A on a 102 but have only limited experience, works fine in the garden...

I have just been to measure a couple of bits. It's raining outside here in Poole, but only when you brave the world outside, put a motor on the stand and get the camera out. Today was the day when I was going to spend 'half an hour' photographing a few motors for this year's Ibsley show, when we'll ...

Ah sorry missed the 22 inch question.

That looks like it is meant to be a 22 1/4 inch part # 100/1310L for all longshaft Silver/Century/Plus combinations and all the way through to Models 80 &75.

Having quickly checked with what I believe is an accurate tape measure I find that on a poll of ...

Thank you Peter,

This was solid information. Maybe someone has gone through the same operation or would know this by heart. I assume one way would be to take the measurements in the spares list and see what the difference is betwwen several parts and then try to assume what is a production ...

How much longer is a long 102?

The exhaust pipe in cromed brass is 17 3/8 inch long on my TC 65 175 Seagull 102 with clutch. Would like to make it to a long version for the sailing boat.
I have bought most of the long type nitty gritty from Mr Aluminum's junk yard. This includes a aluminum exhaust tube 22 inches long. This ...

Still the question about the two holes.
Could it be that part of the spray is taken to the side at the pump housing so the spray coming out from the side below the cylinder i.e. out of the muffler/silencer/ is not be too strong?

All in all is it not a question of a heat distribution away from the ...
