I've just had a look through all my bits, I don't think I've ever seen one, I think the first of the long range tanks was the long brass oval one from LLS times.
Has anyone else ever seen one?

I can't find any mention in the early Seagull paperwork, post 1938 to date.

I have a couple of these, both on motors of the fifties. I have to say I didn't know they were rare.

That shows how perceptive I am, I've probably seen both of the other Charles's long range tanks, & because they were not in my area of interest (very early & very late, pre 1945 & post 1980) they just don't register.

Thank you Charles P & Jan for putting me straight.

Now I'm off to carry on working on my 170 Mk II race motor, I've less than 2 months to get it screaming, so that I can keep the Bermudians & the Kiwis honest!

Too bad your on the other side, I've got one, but for some strange reason they do not want to ship gas tanks in the mail. Wonder how long it would take to drift over there?

Hi. I have one for sale in fairly good condition, characterful dents as normal. Cleaned, shiny but not polished brass, with tap and cap if needed. Make me an offer.

Cheers

Sorry miss read last post but if anyone else is interested...
