Ok, so the soundtrack is great, but where was the cloud of blue smoke. I hope it wasn't running at 50:1 . . .

Nice one, but what was the "death rattle" at the end?

The "death rattle" was the sound of the anchor chain slipping unexpectedly over the edge of the boat, bringing us to a rather inelegant stop. Just bad seamanship, I'm afraid!

Seagull-related movies seem to be an underepresented genre on YouTube, and on the internet generally. I can't imagine why; it would be good to see some more.

I love it! As soon as you get a camera out, your attention is diverted & everything goes pear-shaped! Bin there, dun that![/quote]

Since contributing to the above discussion, I've noticed that someone - perhaps a follower of this thread - has created a British-Seagull group on Youtube (see: http://youtube.com/group/britishseagull). There are a few Seagull related movies on there at present, but it would be good to see some more.

In a similar spirit, I've just created a British-Seagull group on Flickr, the photo-sharing website (see: http://www.flickr.com/groups/british-seagull/).
Members and their Seagull-related photographs are invited.

Surely it can be only a matter of time before Seagull imagery becomes more prevalent than pornography on the Internet....
