Advice on outboard books please

Post by simonseagull »

Hi all was thinking of buying "old outboards" by Peter nunn but it sounds like it's more about US outboards than British has anyone read it ? Or can anyone recommend something please. I'm sick of tv on an evening and would rather be researching outboards thanks in advance

Its is mostly about US outboards, but still full of good information for a collector.
I do have a new second copy, that was purchased in error for me.

Peter Hunn's 3rd edition has Australian outboards pp.190-201, and U.K. outboards pp.201-232 The U.K. section "The author is especially grateful to British boating historians Peter Allen, Rod Chamkin, and Colin B. Wilson for their research efforts. They contributed mightily to this chronicling of the U.K.s rich outboarding past"
