Can anybody help!!!!!!! After foolishly blowing my engine I am desperate to find a con rod and cylinder if poss.I noticed on one of Charles posts that he may have one.cheers Patrick

Actually it's the other Charles that has a passionate interest in, and a few spares for, the 170 series. Try him, good luck

The Seagull 170, 125, & any of the QB series with needle rollers are all strip before you start motors !

"Doesn't sound to me like it has big end problems" is usually the comment before the "now that didn't sound good" one.

The majority of the 170 series motors that are running well today, have had phosphor bronze conrod end caps fitted.

This one you've asked about, I belive never even got on the back of the boat, before it destroyed the conrod & the cylinder in the test tank.

ive got a 170 very sweet runner....
i realy want a kingfisher 6 long shaft ..but i dont want stupid roller bearing cranks that blow!
do all kingfisher6 have the rubbish cranks m8?
