poole would suit me nicely,
been busy today, my box of bits is now a partialy assembled seagull.
i'm using a century plus power head and mating to a century leg and intend using this engine on my timber built enterprise.

Just bought another pair of gulls, one ok, the other very dead(spent a bit of time underwater!!) so i should have at least 2 to play with on the day

Matter of interest - the seagull that's been underwater for a while - how long?

And what is inside the carburettor? I keep on getting ex-submerged motors where the carb looks like its been filled with Pollyfilla...

It spent about 24 hours under as far as im aware,not sure what the damage is yet as i have not been to pick them up, let you know more @ the weekend john,probaly ok as a source of spares if nothing else!!

Hi i restored a silver century for my dad last year.That too had a carb full of a white powdery residue.Still it ran fine after a good strip and rebuild.

Hi All reading your posts... how about fareham there is a car park that if I block book will cost each Â£1.00 per day and I can prob arrange for a wash out tank for flushing after the event there is a local pub... yep its local you can throw a spark plug there from the slip way lol
fareham creek is tidal the run to portchester is a nice run .. I dont know about orgnised events but if it so happened that we all turned up on a set date to meet friends rather than an rally?

I will be at the slip way Fareham on Sat and Sunday
Hi water sat is 14.53 BST
sunday15.27 BST in the creek we get two hours either side of hi water
so I will stay at the slip way till 12.30 gmt sat and 13.30 sunday if anyone wants to join me apart from the bark of my silver c plus here is what I will be sailing ::
