Ready for action!

I took my Seagull EFNRL out of the basement today for the first time since November. I pust some clean gas in the tank covered the intake with a rag and 3 pulls later she was waking up the whole town. I was amazed at how easily she came to life after being idle all winter. I still need to repair the leaking gas tank again which I'll work on this weekend, but other than that she's ready to hit the water. I'm visiting a classic boat show next week and the seagull will be perfect on my gaffrigger. The show is mostly for classic power boats such as Chris Craft and Hacker Craft, but I think when I sail up on my boat with the seagull pushing her along a lot of heads will turn away from the gleaming mahogany powerboats and to see where all that noise is comming from.

Hey Pecan John if you can make it up next week we are having a small gathering of homebuilt boats on Lake Hartwell GA begining Thurday the 19th through Sunday 22 at Hart State Park. It's not a part of the above mentioned boat show but the show is very close by. It would be great if you can make it with or without your boat. Send me an email if you need more info byyb-rc at earthlink dot net
