seagull gearbox oil

Post by Loiner1965 »

i know i should use 140 oil but i heard they was a grease you could add to sae90 to bring it up to 140 grade....does anyone know the name of this grease and mixing ratio etc.
i have lots of sae 90 at work so this might be a cheap option :D

Get hold of some 140 grade oil. That'll be the right oil for the box, it'll form an emulsion with the water, and it doesn't involve guesswork.
