Has any one got a steel tank for a 40+ that isnt rusted out?
Ikeep looking at my 40+ with a replacement brass tank bought from john and thinking it doesn't look right, yes i know there horrible etc etc but there you go!
I'm willing topay a reasonable price or will swap for a very horrible featherweight(no ignition, very weird tank, home made prop, mounting bracket made out of angle iron, but has good compresion)
No rick its not the beauty you sold me! its a dog of a motor i bought as part of a job lot

Hi mick, yes oblong one is what i i want, don't care what it looks like as long as its not beaten to death or leaks like a sive!the gear box on my featherweight is fine although it will need a proper sump plug rather than the plastic pluming fitting it has at the mo(told you it was nasty!).
Think john can help you out there, you will also need a prop as mine has a rather creative home made one,if you was to replace the ingnition it will run and pump water as i ran it breifly before taking the ignition system off for another project.Pm me and we can sort something out
regards paul
