Transporting seagull engine
I have a nissan terrano 4x4 and wanted to know if anyone had ever thought of or has made a bracket to attach to the spare wheel on the back of the car as a mount for transporting a seagull engine

I might be wrong but I think a boat propeller should have a cover over it if going up the road in the UK.

I think it maybe would be hard on the lugs that fit into the transom mount and potentially terminally to the plastic bit that clamps over the drive tube? Maybe not but stand on the bumper and have a friend drive 60 km/hr down some washboard. lot more force at work then when hanging on a transom. That being said I cringe seeing 9 horsepower motors on tinny transoms on trailers so maybe I am sqeamish about it. The other consideration is evident if you look at your rear window after going down a dusty or wet road. Grime, dust and crap in every nook and cranny.
If it is drips and goop is the issue get a 4 foot by 4 foot piece of garden pond liner to lay it on. Or do you just want to be able to show off your gull more? If that is the case then I completley understand
